Victoria Bochats' art studio is her ultimate playroom - a place to revisit the uninhibited creativity of her childhood and let inspiration just flow. No rules, plans or preconceived notions here - the work just evolves. 

 

Her painting technique embraces a raw, intuitive  freedom - It's characterized by bold shapes, expressive markings, many layers and vibrant use of color.

 

Rather than aiming to communicate a complete intellectual concept, her work leans heavily into visual/ graphic design and composition.She explores balance, contrast, rhythm, texture and form in a playful yet deliberate way. 

 

It's less about narrative and more about how the elements interact on the canvas - how a splash of color feels next to a geometric form, how a scribble or scrape can bring movement or energy. There is honesty in her approach that invites viewers to respond emotionally rather than analytically.
