The Numbers Game invites you to pause and explore a carefully layered interplay of color, texture, and form. Anchored by a worn rectangle of mustard yellow, the piece presents a quartet of weathered numbers—"8613"—their faded reds and whites carrying hints of stories untold. Just beneath, a bold stripe of alternating black and pale green not only grounds the composition but adds a punch of contrast that energizes the space.

Three loose circular shapes echo the central hue, filled with collage fragments and punctuated by delicate black dots that create a rhythm both spontaneous and intentional. Surrounding these core elements, subtle scribbles and fine lines weave through a predominantly white background, suggesting movement and depth without overwhelming the scene.

There’s a lived-in quality here—a sense of layering time and texture—that invites reflection on the relationship between structure and abstraction. The piece balances precision with freedom, offering a visual narrative that feels at once playful and thoughtful, encouraging viewers to follow the numbers as they meld with shape and gesture.
